Please call us on 0117 910 9618 if you cannot find an answer to your question
The universal answer to most questions is "bring it down and we'll have a look" which you can do any time during our opening hours without booking
Regardless of the type of service you book and what time you book it, we'd like you to bring the bike in by 11am on the day of the booking, or any time the day before your booking. We would generally expect a 24 hour turnaround if all the parts your bike needs are in stock.
With the exception of puncture repairs, this is not a service we offer. If you need your bike for work purposes, ask us if there is a courtesy bike available. If you need the bike to get home we can come and collect it from you instead
Don't worry, neither do we until we've had a chance to properly inspect it! You can book it in for a basic service and we can advise on inspection or you can bring the bike down to the shop any time for a free quote
Every bike repair is different, sometimes we can overhaul a bike in just a couple of hours but some bikes have us sweating and swearing for a couple of days for something theoretically simple like a replacement headset bearing. We try to keep the pricing as low as possible however if your bike has internal cable routing, tubeless or tubular tyres or a press fit bottom bracket you can expect the labour charge to be slightly higher
Parts are charged in addition on an as-used basis. It's impossible to include parts in the pricing structure as every bike repair is different
We have a large selection of parts in stock, we can also get almost anything else the next working day and we'd really appreciate your business in that respect. You can bring your own parts in, but you may incur additional fees if it's something we could have provided it you.
Bear in mind that any warranty issues you may encounter are the responsibility of the original retailer that provided them, so if a part supplied elsewhere goes wrong you'll have to pay someone to remove and refit it.
Each job is different and we quote each one individually once a physical inspection has been made. However as a guide our minimum labour charge is £15
Yes, however if we have no physical space to store your bike we may ask you to bring it back once we've cleared through any bikes waiting for collection. It's always good to get a look at a bike before we book it in so if its convenient for you we strongly encourage it
Ideally we'd like you to pick it up within 24 hours of completion, however we're aware this is not always possible. If the bike is having to be stored for more than a week after completion then storage charges may be added to your bill at the discretion of the manager
We take card or cash when you collect the bike, with collection and delivery we take a deposit up front but this is refundable off the repair or a replacement bike.
Sometimes Apple and Google pay don't work with our reader so do remember your card and not just your phone. If we need to special order parts for your bike we may ask for a deposit to cover those up front
